Matt Hagemann wins RWDCA Dwarf Car main minus a motor. Mark Biscardi was leading until he blew an engine on the last laps. Hagemann running second took over the lead just in time to blow his motor crossing the finish line. It was a spectacular finish.
Another highlight of the night was in honor of Sunday being Mother’s Day, Redwood Dwarf Car Association competitor Danny Marsh’s sister and her business the Green Bouquet, donated 200 pink Gerber Daisies for Saturday Night’s race at Petaluma Speedway. The drivers and crew members delivered the flowers to mother’s and loved one’s in the grandstand at intermission. Four pink gas cans were also passed through the grandstand to those who would like to donate to the worthy cause. All the money raised will be donated on behalf of the RWDCA and Petaluma Speedway to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
