7/24 Saturday’s race at Petaluma has been cancelled.

Attention Petaluma Speedway patrons, competitors, crews, and sponsors. This evening I’ve had to make a very difficult decision. Due to circumstances beyond our control we will be cancelling tomorrow night’s July 24th race. The main water pipe from the fairgrounds well to the track is disabled so I’m not able to prepare the track tonight in a manner that would be safe or reasonable for our racer’s to compete on, or our valued patrons to enjoy. This decision did not come easily and as a promoter it’s the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. While I understand that this will be a disappointment to many. It will be to me, as well as my staff, the track partners, and the racing community. I would like to thank the many racer’s that I spoke with today as well as thank the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds management & maintenance for their efforts. We will be back in action next Saturday Night, July 31st with the USAC West Coast 360’s, USAC Western Midgets, Western Midgets, and 600 micro’s.
Respectfully,
Rick Faeth
